12th November 2017 – The Nation Building School (NBS) organised their 2nd workshop on public speaking, “Just 3 Hours: Master the Art of Public Speaking”, which was held on Sunday, 12 November 2017 from 10 am to 1 pm at the Reading Room of BAC’s PJ Campus. The workshop was led by NBS’ in-house chief trainer Nafis Nazri, who is also the co-founder of TalentBase, an organisation that partners with universities and industry authorities to organise talks, labs and incubators that grow students’ personal and professional lives. This latest workshop focused on the art of persuasion — an essential tool in the workplace and a key skill for budding entrepreneurs. Attended by 18 participants, the workshop garnered a total of RM540 in programme sales.
NBS is a non-profit youth development platform that aims to create positive social change. Established in August 2015 and led by young professionals, it has engaged over 3,000 youths, who volunteer their time to mobilise initiatives and leadership programmes designed to help youths in their personal, professional and civic development.
