Same Skies: Training Session for their Refugee Management Team

Same Skies organised a meeting with some members from Refugee Network Centre, a refugee-led centre to discuss and brainstorm on practical suggestions in kick-starting the Same Skies’ leadership course “Transformative Leadership in Action” (TLIA). The session was held on March 2, 2019, at KL Campus, Brickfields Asia College. It was attended by 5 participants. TLIA will be one of the pilot courses to be offered by the Refugee Network Centre at their new centre which supports refugees to connect and share their existing skills and knowledge. The Centre also links interested refugees with a network of local Malaysian entrepreneurs as mentors to assist them in building up partnerships or starting their own businesses. The venue was supported by The Make It Right Movement (MIRM). Same Skies is a non-religious, politically neutral non-profit organisation, an international team of passionate humanitarian professionals who support refugees and asylum seekers.
