Tamil Refugees in Malaysia- Math and English Classes for Tamil Refugee students

Tamil Refugees in Malaysia will be conducting a weekly Math and English Classes catered specifically to Tamil Refugee students aged 7-17. The first class took place on 4 August 2019 at the KL Campus of Brickfields Asia College. Volunteers assisted in teaching the students based on the student’s individual level of understanding. The 5 participants who attended were taught by applying the topics they have learnt in their daily life. Hence making the lessons fun and enjoyable yet easy to remember! The weekly classes will be continuously supported by Make it Right Movement (MIRM) with the hope that these group of refugee students will continue their studies and pursue a higher level of education in order to achieve their career aspirations.
