CANSURVIVE’s Monthly Talk- Meditation and Healthcare
Cansurvive Centre Malaysia Berhad (CANSURVIVE) organised a talk on Meditation and Healthcare at the PJ Campus of Brickfields Asia College. The session was conducted by Fr Sebastian Painadath, a renowned spiritual Jesuit priest from India. He is also the Founder of the Someeksha Ashram in Kalady, South India. Someeksha Ashram is a quiet place of prayer accessible to all in search of spiritual truth. He managed to engrave his name in various spiritual ministries and inter-religious dialogue sessions in both Europe and Asia. He is also the author of various notable books relating to spiritual teachings. A total of 41 cancer patients and their family members attended the beneficial session.
Fr Sebastian pointed out the importance and various benefits of meditation and how it affects our well-being irrespective of our gender, social and religious background. He encourages a positive lifestyle filled with love, peace and one that focuses on inner peace.
Cansurvive is a non-profit cancer charity organisation that aims to provide guidance and community support for cancer patients as well as their family and friends. It also strives to raise public awareness on the benefits of holistic, non-invasive cancer therapies, nutrition and diet, types of orthodox treatments, and access to such treatments.
