Cansurvive’s Post Conference workshop: Here’s your Chance to Learn How they Lived to Tell

Cansurvive Centre Malaysia Berhad (Cansurvive) organised a Post Conference workshop: Here’s your Chance to Learn How they Lived to Tell on the 25th August 2019 at the PJ Campus of Brickfields Asia College. The Workshop was conducted by both Mr Cheang See Kwoi and Ms Claravil de Guzman who shared their own journey of battling cancer. A total of 34 participants attended this beneficial workshop. Mr Cheang, a Malaysian, focuses his session on post treatment recovery. One would think that after recovering from cancer, you can simply consume everything and anything, right? According to Mr Cheang, this is not entirely true because once your body is cancer-free, you have to begin the healing process where your body will have to be restored to its full functions so as to improve the immune system, build resistance and self-healing power through the natural way. Besides that, he also provided some practical tips on how to eat wisely during the recovery period. Ms Claravil from Philippines shared a holistic approach on healing during the cancer journey that emphasises on the connection of mind, body and spirit. She is a firm believer that besides the medicine, treatment and procedures, the mind too plays a vital role too in defeating cancer. Hence, she urge all individuals with cancer to have a positive mindset. Most of the participants learned a fair bit more especially on post cancer recovery. Although these are also advised from a medical practitioner but it is definitely more beneficial hearing it from someone who had been through it rather than from a professional (doctors). Make It Right Movement supported the Conference by arranging for a suitable venue and catering needs. Cansurvive is a non-profit cancer charity organisation that aims to provide guidance and community support for cancer patients as well as their family and friends. It also strives to raise public awareness on the benefits of holistic, non-invasive cancer therapies, nutrition and diet, types of orthodox treatments, and access to such treatments.
