National Council of Women’s Organisations, Malaysia (NCWO) organised a full day plan on Sunday, 2nd of June 2018. They had their Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) in the morning and their second Executive Committee (Exco) Meeting of 2018 during the afternoon.
The event which was held at Brickfields Asia College, PJ Campus and attended by 80 participants. It started with a brief speech by their President, Tan Sri Sharifah Hapsah followed by a summarised version of reports from past events by one of NCWO’s Secretariat, Ms Zulidah.
During the Exco Meeting, the Exco members focused their attention and brainstorm on the upcoming charitable causes and events that NCWO would collaborate or take part in the next half of year 2018.
The venue of the event was supported by the Make It Right Movement.
NCWO is a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) that aims to unite other women’s organisations and corporate with national, regional and international organisations to advocate and monitor full participation, inclusion and representation of women in decision making and ensuring that women’s rights are respected, protected and fulfilled to a certain extent.
