Women of Will (WoW), in collaboration with Digi, conducted a business skills programme on financial literacy and a Wanita Era Digital programme on using social media for marketing for 90 of WoW’s beneficiaries. Sponsored by the Make It Right Movement, the event was held on Saturday, 14th of October 2017 from 10 am to 5:30 pm at Brickfields Asia College’s PJ Campus. Digi’s Wanita Era Digital is one of seven programmes developed by Digi under the Empower Societies initiative to enable different community groups in urban and rural areas, netizens, youth, children, the underprivileged and now women, to enjoy the benefits of being connected. It is a nationwide outreach programme to inspire and empower women in Malaysia through greater internet adoption and education on basic internet skills.
