CANSURVIVE’s Monthly Talk- Remove FEAR with Healthy Breathing & Healthy Food

Cansurvive Centre Malaysia Berhad (CANSURVIVE) organised a talk on “Remove FEAR with Healthy Breathing & Healthy Food at the PJ Campus of Brickfields Asia College on 23 February 2019. The session was conducted by Datin Siti Suleiha Suguna, an accomplished natural therapist in Malaysia with nearly 40 years of practice being tutored personally from an early age in yoga by her father, a renowned Yogi. Datin Suleiha is sought after worldwide for her short courses and seminars on her area of expertise. There were 40 participants who attended this complimentary talk. The session was divided into two segments. In the first segment of the session, Datin Suleiha highlighted the heavy influence of social media on the types of food that we should consume, which in turn causes us to be more cautious to the extent that we fear almost everything we see or touch. She went on further to explain that humans are actually ‘programmed’ in such a way that our bodies possess natural wisdom to take care of our own individual needs. In essence, we should not be dependent on what we read on Social Media when it comes to the  consumption of food. The second segment covered breathing and blood circulation and how they are interlinked. She further emphasised the fact that we have close to 72,000 pranic nadis (yoga pulses) in our body and breathing is directly connected to our overall energy level. If we do not have good blood circulation, our body and mind would be severely affected because the brain requires good oxygen flow in order to function well.
