Rachel Siew Suet Li Trust Fund: Pre-Loved Charity Bazaar
In conjunction with MPS Awareness Day 2019, Rachel Siew Suet Li Trust Fund (RSTF) organised a Pre- Loved Charity Bazaar for two days on the 17th and 18th of May 2019 at the Concourse Area of PJ Campus, Brickfields Asia College. A group of Good Samaritans came together to contribute a wide range of pre- loved items such as clothes, shoes and bags in pristine condition for sale at a reasonable price.
Proceeds from the charity sale will be contributed to two charitable organisations, the Malaysia Lysosomal Diseases Association (MLDA) and RSTF.
The Make It Right Movement (MIRM) supported the event by promoting the event on their Social Media platforms and assisting in terms of collaterals such as designing and printing of the brochure. LEO Club of BAC provided volunteers to help out during the event.
RSTF is a trust fund created to support Rachel Siew who is living with Morquio syndrome, a rare degenerative genetic condition which requires a yearly medical bill of RM1.6mil. Rachel is also an Alumni of BAC and Community Advocate of the Make It Right Movement.
